The MMA (Mobile Marketing Association) today announced its all-star line-up of global marketers and advertisers that comprise the jury panel for The Smarties™ 2012, the world’s only global mobile marketing awards competition. New York, (July 17, 2012) — Now in its eighth year, The Smarties recognizes and celebrates outstanding achievement within the mobile marketing industry, featuring awards for nearly 30 separate mobile marketing categories. To accommodate agency schedules, the award submission deadline has been extended until July 30. Submission Deadline Extended Until July 30 The Smarties 2012 Jury Panel includes: Juan Adlercreutz, Interactive Marketing Director Latin America, The Coca-Cola Company “It’s no small task to review hundreds of examples of the best creative work in mobile, and we are so grateful to our judges for their time and energy,” said Greg Stuart, CEO, MMA. “It’s amazing to see how the body of work improves exponentially year over year and the Smarties aren’t just an awards show, but also a benchmark for the endless possibilities for innovation and creativity afforded by mobile marketing.” The Smarties is the only global mobile awards program, with campaigns evaluated on their success in achieving core marketing objectives in categories such as Brand Awareness, Promotion and Social Impact. Judges will also examine how each campaign leveraged different mobile channels from SMS to apps to tablets. Perhaps most coveted will be the Industry Awards, when judges will choose the Global Agency of the Year in Mobile and the best Global Mobile Campaign, among other top honors.
