Integrator and Application Developer for Enterprise and Mobile fields is opening
an R&D center in Obninsk, Russia.
With offices in US and Moscow, Russia, XIM found unique resources in Obninsk
– a town known as the first Science City in Russia. Located 64 miles from the
capital, Obninsk is one of Russia’s leading scientific centers, boasting 12 scientific
research institutes, including 3 highly acclaimed State Scientific centers of
Russian Federation. The city carries out R&D and innovation activities mainly
in the areas of nuclear power engineering, technology of non-metallic materials,
medical radiology, meteorology and ecology and environmental protection.
XIM invests money in education and R&D abroad to create competitive advantage
and bring new technologies and capabilities to the North American market, where
the company has its main clients. Earlier this year the company has opened the
first American Software Quality Assurance School in Moscow. The school just started
its second semester with about 20 new students.
