eBIZ.mobility Unveils its Groundbreaking Roaming Mobile Payment Gateway

The New Face of M-Commerce – eBIZ.mobility, LTD has developed the groundbreaking M-Commerce Roaming Mediation Gateway -- RMGTM payment gateway that will allow travelers to perform mobile payment transactions and to purchase data services across international boundaries using nothing more than their cell-phones.
The eBIZ.mobility roaming solution is unique as it is the only technology that bridges wireless network-centric digital content like video clips together with physical point of sale purchases using contactless payment whose usage is exploding in the Far East. The RMG payment gateway performs transaction authorization between network operators in real-time, as well as providing a true interoperability platform across disparate M-commerce technologies.
The RMG sits between different mobile operators to route and authorize immediate M-commerce transactions. This element is secure and flexible and works with any payment scheme for any commercial transaction. When a traveling consumer purchases a video clip or a soft drink in another country using the mobile telephone, the transaction is authorized by his or her home service provider and currency is converted in real-time.
Based on a secure SS7 common signaling channel, the RMG confirms the subscriber’s financial ability to make the transaction with the subscriber’s home network operator, thus allowing mobile transactions to be seamlessly authorized every time between mobile network operators that use different network, service, payment and billing systems. It is significantly more secure, reliable and predictable than any other technology available today.
eBIZ.mobility is an active member of the PayCircle group for creating a universal, simple and secure payment method for mobile communication services.
The Tower Group projects that by 2007, one billion macropayment transactions and 25 billion micropayment transactions will be conducted via mobile phone annually. According to BWCS, a leading wireless telecommunications consultancy in the UK, the mobile payment market is at the beginning stage of what is projected to become a $380 billion industry by 2010. The European Telecommunication Standards Institute reports that using mobile phones across borders and/or operators (roaming) accounts for 10% of all mobile traffic.
eBIZ.mobility is the developer of M-commerce roaming solutions. The company was founded by international experts in telecommunication networks and operations, and systems development. Its RMG payment gateway is set to become the leading M-commerce roaming solution for premium digital content such as news, sports, videos, games, ring tones and mobile proximity payment.
