 for Windows Mobile(TM) Smartphone Available from AT&T Wireless

Audiovox SMT 5600 With SureWave Mobile Office Offers AT&T Wireless Business Customers a Cost-Effective Wireless Enterprise Applications Solution

DALLAS, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- JP Mobile(R) (http://www.jpmobile.com/ ), a leading provider of enterprise mobility software, today announced the launch of its corporate push email/PIM solution for the new Windows Mobile(TM)-based Audiovox SMT 5600 smartphone now available from AT&T Wireless. JP Mobile's SureWave Mobile Office is a device-, network- and email platform-agnostic solution for secure corporate access to push email/PIM. With the SureWave- enabled Audiovox SMT 5600, AT&T Wireless business customers have easy and secure mobile access to their corporate email, calendar, contacts, and other productivity applications. JP Mobile's SureWave Mobile Office allows newly received email messages and calendar items to be securely and automatically forwarded, or pushed, to AT&T Wireless customers' Audiovox SMT 5600 smartphones. SureWave leverages Windows Mobile's native Pocket Outlook client, ensuring a familiar and intuitive interface for users. In addition, the SureWave Mobile Platform allows enterprises to extend proprietary or third-party applications to mobile devices along with the JP Mobile applications.

"JP Mobile's SureWave Mobile Office solution gives mobile professionals the ability to access 'behind-the-firewall' information wirelessly while on the go," said Abhi Ingle, vice president of business data solutions for AT&T Wireless. "Coupled with the new Audiovox SMT 5600, businesses will have an end-to-end email solution on one of the most compelling and compact smartphones on the market."

"The Windows Mobile-based Audiovox SMT 5600 provides seamless synchronization with desktop data, wireless e-mail and calendar updates," said Mark Spain, director of developer marketing, Mobile and Embedded Devices Division at Microsoft Corp. "JP Mobile's SureWave Mobile Office solution enables mobile professionals to access the essential information they need to be more productive while they are away from the office."

SureWave offers a compelling total cost of ownership to service providers and enterprise customers. Simplified provisioning and an easy-to-use web- based administration console allows for fast, hassle-free deployment and efficient, cost-effective centralized management and security. IT organizations will be able to leverage their existing technology investments and be assured of a product that meets or exceeds their security requirements. SureWave offers:

 * No requirement for separate desktop synchronization software
   *  Centralized,
server-based synchronization from behind the corporate
      firewall
   *  Secure,
direct connection between the device and SureWave
   *  Multiple network support,
including GSM/GPRS, CDMA/1XRTT, CDPD,
      802.11, and BlueTooth.

"Robust security features, full-featured wireless push email/PIM capability, and hassle-free deployment and maintenance are the key drivers for the adoption of smartphones and personal digital assistants in enterprises. We developed SureWave Mobile Office to align with these drivers and to make it safe, easy and cost-effective to deploy wireless email/PIM and other mobile applications across the enterprise," said Dayakar Puskoor, CEO and founder of JP Mobile. "We are very excited about our initiatives with AT&T Wireless and Microsoft, and we anticipate an enthusiastic response from enterprises to the SMT5600."

Seamless integration with native Windows Pocket Outlook and other PIM applications allows users to have a familiar and intuitive experience. With Windows Mobile-based devices, SureWave users will be able to:

 * Receive wireless push and/or cradle-based synchronization of email,

 calendar, contacts and tasks
   * Use the device's native email, calendar,
contacts
and task
      applications, eliminating the need to learn a new interface

* Receive instant notification of new email and calendar items
   *  View
attachments
and have access to the global address book.

AT&T Wireless customers that purchase the Audiovox SMT5600 and activate the SureWave Mobile Office application are eligible for a $50.00 rebate from JP Mobile. (Please visit http://www.jpmobile.com/att_surewave_rebate.asp for more information on the rebate promotion).
