2004 CDMA Americas Congress Commences Today Print E-mail

Opening Day to Feature Keynote Presentations, Workshops and Expanded Show Floor

MIAMI--Sept. 28, 2004--The 2004 CDMA Americas Congress, co-organized by the Institute for International Research (IIR) (www.iirusa.com) and the CDMA Development Group (CDG) (www.cdg.org), kicks-off today in Miami, Florida and runs through Sept. 30, 2004. Tuesday's agenda at the ninth annual CDMA Americas Congress features keynote presentations from executives of leading wireless companies, thought-provoking workshops, and an expanded show floor featuring many of the world's leading wireless carriers, handset manufacturers and infrastructure providers.


"The 2004 CDMA Americas Congress has assembled one of the most robust lists of keynote presenters, sponsors and exhibitors in recent memory," said Kristy Perkins, Conference Director. "Bringing together more than 1,000 delegates to learn from the world's innovators in wireless technology, services and applications, the Congress will cover the foremost topics in CDMA business and investment strategies, network infrastructure developments, and innovations in mobile services, content and applications."

Keynote presentations on Tuesday will be made by:

Other keynote presentations at the CDMA Americas Congress will be made by:

-- Soren Peterson, Senior Vice President and General Manager, CDMA Business Unit, Nokia

-- Richard Lowe, President, CDMA Networks, Nortel Networks

-- Bharat B. Anand, President, Regulatory Affairs, Reliance InfoComm

-- Douglas Rasor, Vice President, Manager, Worlwide Strategic Marketing, Texas Instruments

-- Dan Schulman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Virgin Mobile USA
