New Geography Game for Windows Phone Print E-mail
Written by Brillisoft
Monday, 19 November 2012

We very recently launched Find The City, a free fun educational game for Windows Phone (and soon for Windows 8), for kids of all ages!

At the start of a round, you are asked to find a city, which could be anywhere in the world.  Your goal is to find the city as quickly as possible, by flicking and pinching the screen and clicking the “I Found It!” button when you have the city in your crosshairs.  The closer you get to the target city and the quicker you find it, the more points you get.

Features in version 1.1…

  • New design; tell us what you think
  • Complete all 10 levels to beat the game
  • Your hi-score is tracked, so you can try improve it every time you play
  • The first few levels ask you to find capital cities only
  • In higher levels, you might be asked to find small cities you’ve never heard of
  • Play this game often enough and you’ll know where thousands of cities are located!
  • In level 1, you have 90 seconds to find the target city
  • As you proceed to a new level, you have less time to find the city
  • If you run out of time looking for the city, the game ends
  • The game has background music and sound-effects
  • Exiting the game will pause it and allow you to resume next time you play
  • You need to be online to play this game, although we are working on an offline version
  • We will be releasing version updates frequently, adding cool new features!
If you have a Windows Phone, please take a minute to check out Find The City and let us know what you think
