Next weekend, October 19-21 Google will be sponsoring "re-route/sf" a hackathon to help San Franciscans get around.
Google is looking for teams to help design and build innovative tools to improve transportation in San Francisco to address three challenges:
1. Collecting the right data.
2. Planning a trip anywhere - on-time
3. Seeing what's broken and watching it get fixed
If you are local to Bay Area in California and are interested , you can find out more here: http://hattery.com/reroute/
