Expert and Author Jamie Turner Shares How to Kick Start a Mobile Marketing Program – From QR Codes to Mobile Websites

BELLEVUE, Wash.--T-Mobile today announced it will host a webinar on Thursday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m. ET/8:00 a.m PT entitled, “How to Use Mobile Marketing to get New Customers.” Webinar participants will learn about easy-to-implement mobile marketing strategies and best practices to reach new customers and to transform their business.

“How to Use Mobile Marketing to get New Customers.”

Who: Founder and Chief Content Officer of The 60 Second Marketer, entrepreneurial expert and author, Jamie Turner, will discuss how small and mid-sized businesses can leverage the growing number of “connected” users to engage with customers in new ways to increase business.

What: According to a Web.com May 2012 survey of 500 businesses with less than 100 employees, 84 percent currently using mobile marketing have seen an increase in new business. Further, approximately 69 percent consider mobile marketing crucial to their growth in the next five years. However, a majority of them are yet to fully leverage the medium.

To help businesses take advantage of mobile marketing to engage customers and grow their business, T-Mobile’s July 12 webinar will share key tips and tricks, including:

  • Identifying easy and innovative ways to kick start a mobile marketing program
  • Incorporating best practices for using text messages, mobile apps, QR codes and other mobile marketing tools to grow sales and revenue
  • Creating mobile websites quickly and cost effectively
  • Leveraging location-based marketing to entice new customers
