Broadband World Forum Asia 2011 launches free seminar programme Print E-mail
Written by Broadband World Forum Asia
Thursday, 31 March 2011
The largest broadband event in the Asia-Pacific region - Broadband World Forum Asia 2011, co-located with IP&TV Forum Asia - has today announced the launch of a free show floor seminar programme.

31 March 2011 – The Broadband Enablers programme will provide visitors with a free opportunity to discuss the latest technology innovations from service providers and operators at the Seminar Theatre located on the Broadband World Forum Asia exhibition floor.

Featuring presentations such as Adding Value to a Commodity Product: Assessing which applications will compel customers to pay more for the minimum level of bandwidth and Operator success stories on improving DSL networks, the seminar programme will include speakers from PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Sri Lanka Telecom PLC, PTCL, Telenet Private Limited Nepal and Jalenas.

Gavin Whitechurch, director of Broadband World Forum series, commented: “Profiting from investment into high speed broadband is a big talking point for the Asia-Pacific region, and after its break this year’s Broadband World Forum Asia will provide a unique platform for fixed and mobile operators to share their experience and successes in enabling social and economic growth through the provision of broadband coverage.

“The free-to-attend Broadband Enablers seminar programme will offer a valuable arena and networking opportunity for attendees to discuss the latest developments relating to Asia’s broadband and TV evolution amongst the buzz of the exhibition floor.”

Broadband World Forum Asia – taking place from 10-11 May at KL Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia - attracts more than 2,000 delegates from all of the developed and emerging countries across the region. After a brief absence, the event - now co-located with the 7th annual IP&TV Forum Asia - is back on the industry calendar and set to equip the industry with the latest opinions on how to increase revenues and maximise investment in fibre and broadband networks. The combined exhibition is Asia Pacific’s largest broadband media showcase and networking centre.

To view the full event programme and register for the conference, visit the Broadband World Forum Asia 2011 website at www.broadbandworldforum.com/asia or call +44 (0)20 7017 5506. Follow Broadband World Forum Asia on Twitter at http://twitter.com/bbworldforum using hashtag #bbwfasia.
