ToolAware releases graphical installation and packaging tool, PackageForge, for Symbian OS Print E-mail

Ronneby, Sweden, Oct.8 – ToolAware releases its first product PackageForge. PackageForge is a graphical installation and packaging tool for Symbian OS based smartphones.

PackageForge simplifies the task of creating and maintaining Symbian Installation System (SIS) files. In the past, developers had to edit complicated package script (PKG) files and constantly consult the documentation to figure out what symbols and directives to use. No more. PackageForge presents a simple and user-friendly interface that abstracts all the complicated details of creating installation packages. Specify vendor and package name, drag and drop your files, select your certificate and build the SIS file with the click of a button.

Releasing your application and installation to different markets has always been an expensive and complicated process. PackageForge simplifies the localization of the installation itself by providing a simple localization interface suitable not only for developers but to translators as well. You can finally send your package to a translation studio and have them translate everything for you.

PackageForge is available for download as a free fully functional 30-day trial edition at http://www.toolaware.com/packageforge_download.html and can be purchased from the ToolAware web store at http://www.toolaware.com/packageforge_buy.html.
