SAN MATEO, Calif.-- DeviceAnywhere, the industry leader in end-to-end mobile app testing, and Forum Nokia, Nokia's global developer program, are now showcasing some of the best apps from Ovi Store through interactive, clickable demos.

The tutorials are based on DeviceAnywhere's DemoAnywhere solution, which allows consumers to interact with apps on virtual mobile phones via the Internet. To access the demos, visit Forum Nokia's "Ovi Daily App" blog at http://blog.ovi.com/dailyapp/global/ and click on Tutorials.

"Forum Nokia understands the win-win situation they are creating for consumers and developers. Consumers are happier with their downloads because they already know it is the right app for them and developers will gain a larger and more loyal following, meaning greater revenues over time."

This is the first time that any app store has had a resource like this. Using this DemoAnywhere-powered tool, consumers will make more informed decisions about the apps they download and discover the most interesting ones available. As Ovi Store continues to grow, the tutorials will give developers of the best apps a platform to completely show the capabilities and functionality of their software.

Developers are encouraged to submit their apps to the editors of the Ovi Daily App blog for consideration in upcoming online tutorials. The contact form is located at http://blog.ovi.com/dailyapp/global/about/ and they should type "Idea for Tutorial" in the subject line.

DemoAnywhere is a web-based application that enables users to experience and interact with virtual mobile phones, over the Internet, accompanied by step-by-step tutorials. Unlike Flash-based or other simulation technologies, DemoAnywhere builds absolutely interactive demos of the applications using direct output from the screens of actual devices. DemoAnywhere can be embedded into any Web site or in-store kiosk.

"With Ovi Store, we wanted to help consumers choose the right apps with confidence," said Srikanth Raju, head of marketing, Forum Nokia. "DeviceAnywhere has allowed us to achieve that in a very engaging and intuitive way for Ovi Store customers. It is also a fantastic forum for Symbian developers to showcase some of the impressive and high-quality applications that they continue to publish."

"Forum Nokia has broken new ground by making interactive demos available to consumers of mobile applications," commented Faraz Syed, CEO and co-founder, DeviceAnywhere. "Forum Nokia understands the win-win situation they are creating for consumers and developers. Consumers are happier with their downloads because they already know it is the right app for them and developers will gain a larger and more loyal following, meaning greater revenues over time."

About DemoAnywhere

DemoAnywhereT is a web-based application that enables users to experience and interact with virtual mobile phones, over the Internet. Unlike Flash-based or other simulation technologies, DemoAnywhere builds virtual device demos using direct output from the screens and speakers of actual devices.

DemoAnywhere provides the tools to help mobile operators better educate and support mobile consumers, improve customer satisfaction, and increase adoption of new mobile products. Users can press keys or touch screens, and view and hear resulting screens and sounds, just as if they had the actual phone in their hands. And because the product is html-based, these virtual demos and related content can easily be integrated into both your company's external website, and internal applications.

This award winning technology has served thousands of organizations for six years and is an established and widely used standard protocol for mobile developers worldwide.

Direct-to-DeviceT Software - This approach provides a software-only option exclusively for Smartphone application development and test automation and is available in a lab environment. Ideal for enterprise mobility applications and consumer applications designed exclusively for smartphones.

Direct-to-DeviceT Express - This approach ensures the fastest device turnaround possible and is an ideal choice for those groups within mobile operators and device manufacturers that are responsible for handset testing and certification.
