ISBX Launches as Cross-Platform Mobile Development Service Print E-mail

Company’s Avenue Mobile Platform Offers a Cost and Time-Saving Solution for Developing and Deploying Applications across Multiple Smartphone Devices

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Los Angeles-based start-up ISBX has officially launched to offer a cross-platform mobile development solution for brands and businesses looking to capitalize on the exploding mobile application market.

"Our goal is to be the market leader in the development of mobile application technologies. To achieve this goal, we are continually refining and improving our business processes and keeping a close ear to the ground to keep ahead of the pack in this ever-changing market"

Backed by private investors in both the U.S. and Asia, ISBX has developed the Avenue Mobile platform, a proprietary framework for deploying applications with an unlimited variety of features, across virtually any mobile platform such as iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Android and Symbian, at a fraction of the time and cost. ISBX has demonstrated this ability by producing entertainment apps, survey tools and content portal type apps across multiple platforms for its roster of clients such as NBC Universal, Warner Brothers, CW Networks, and Sony Pictures.

"The reality of today's mobile landscape and especially moving into the future is that there are a large number of mobile platforms and developing for only one means you're ignoring a large number of potential customers," said Eric Wise, president of ISBX. "In addition, one huge untapped area for development is mobile applications for businesses. Giving executives and employees information and control at their fingertips with a mobile application is going to be a game changer."

Wise, a veteran interactive marketing and development executive who has provided strategies for multiple Fortune 1000 companies such as American Honda Motors, Anheuser Busch, The Coca-Cola Company, Disney, Sony, and Warner Bros, is leading ISBX's new business development efforts and overall company strategy alongside partner Kelly Chu, an expert in the development and management of information technology and services, who serves as Chief Technology Officer. Chu is the former Director of Technology at BIG Interactive where he headed up all of the company's technology initiatives including establishing the BIG Mobile Messaging Platform and Mobile Content Management System.

Added Chu, "Unlike our competitors who are busy focusing on refining an `engine' that can only handle the porting of content over to limited platforms, we have developed our Avenue Mobile platform with a modular approach to introduce true cross-platform functionality, while retaining architecture that is native to each device, minimizing any performance and functionality issues. The benefit here is that we can work closely with our clients to create unique feature rich mobile apps across all platforms and launch in a matter of weeks at a fraction of the cost."

"Our goal is to be the market leader in the development of mobile application technologies. To achieve this goal, we are continually refining and improving our business processes and keeping a close ear to the ground to keep ahead of the pack in this ever-changing market," said Arthur Iinuma, ISBX's Chief Operating Officer and veteran in the areas of overseas and offshore business, growth strategy and capital finance, having previously managed investments at Morgan Stanley, as well UBS Private Bank where he served as Vice President of Investments.
