Cardmobili Launches Mobile Loyalty and Member Service in North America Print E-mail

Debut of iPhone Application Consolidates Membership, Loyalty, Rewards and Association Cards Directly into Consumer Mobile Devices

MINNEAPOLIS & PORTO, Portugal--Cardmobili, a leading provider of mobile loyalty and member services, today announced its expansion into North America. A free application for consumers, Cardmobili (www.cardmobili.com) takes advantage of cloud computing infrastructure to unburden consumers from carrying physical loyalty, membership, rewards and association cards and makes them available on their mobile phone. Cardmobili's smart application aligns merchants and consumers with personalized communication, heightened services and greater control and ease of managing all types of card affiliations and programs through one central device.

"Cardmobili's mission is to support the consumer with an easy-to-use application that is as intuitive as it is useful, while providing merchant organizations with a direct and immediate network to their consumer"

Launched today on the iPhone, iPad and iPod in the U.S. App Store (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cardmobili/id369235886?mt=8), Cardmobili provides a simple and convenient service for consumers to access loyalty and membership cards stored on the mobile device anytime and anyplace. Cardmobili is poised to disrupt the fragmented loyalty and member rewards market and deliver a valuable solution that is practical, streamlined and easy for consumers to use. Cardmobili users can select and update account information for more than 300 programs and associations, or choose to add their own custom card online at www.cardmobili.com. During its recent launch in the Portugal iTunes App Store, Cardmobili ascended rapidly to the number one free downloaded application.

"Cardmobili's mission is to support the consumer with an easy-to-use application that is as intuitive as it is useful, while providing merchant organizations with a direct and immediate network to their consumer," said Jeff Seabloom, senior vice president of U.S. operations for Cardmobili. "Building upon the success in Europe, Cardmobili has gained unique insights into the behavior and adoption of how information is shared and leveraged in everyday applications. Cardmobili's use of the loyalty cloud, delivery through the mobile phone and the support of social media provides the catalyst to drive consumer use of the service and enable merchants to extend their loyalty and marketing programs as well as promotions, brand awareness and direct communication to mobile devices."

Card issuers that adopt mobile loyalty programs can reduce the on-boarding fee by up to 88%. It also gives them the ability to increase interaction with their customer base and provide recognition and incentives for segments of customers.

Cardmobili's unique use of the industry's first mobile loyalty cloud provides single point registration for the consumer and has the ability to connect directly to a merchant's CRM system through standard APIs. Consumers sign up for loyalty, membership and reward programs directly through Cardmobili's service rather than by visiting retail locations or websites. This provides a new channel of members and creates the opportunity to drive retail traffic and brand preference with targeted paper-free vouchers, promotions and rewards, especially when combined with location-based services.

Cardmobili allows consumers to consolidate all of their cards and valuable information (regardless of type) directly into their mobile phones. The service is available on the iPhone, iPod and iPad, as well as Java-based smartphone, including popular models from Nokia, Samsung LG and Motorola. The Cardmobili service can be found at www.cardmobili.com and plans are to also release applications specific to Blackberry, Android and Windows Phone operating systems within the following months.

A short video about the Cardmobili service is at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHOMP-ik1Yc
