How pre-paid top-ups can reduce pollution
Paderborn (Germany), 16 December 2009: In view of the 15th United Nations Climate Change Conference, we have to think of environmentally friendly solutions, ensuring profitable business in the long run. With its Virtual Voucher Solution, Orga Systems addresses manufacturing as well as distribution and deployment issues reducing pollution. Using mobile GSM handsets as vending devices, scratch cards do not have to be built, nor do they have to be transported or disposed. Besides good ecological credentials, environmental sustainability brings along a lot of business benefits: saving money - not only with regards to production but also regarding logistics, recycling and pollution control.
100% revenue and 0% emission
Furthermore, no vouchers have to be produced or transported and no vouchers have to be recycled. Virtual Voucher enables operators to collect 100% revenue from their top-up done by Virtual Voucher, reducing costs by 100% at the same time. This way operators and stakeholders benefit directly from lower costs.
With normal scratch cards, about 20% of the business volume is for voucher production, handling and lost or stolen vouchers - Virtual Voucher brings this loss down to 0%. The same result can be seen for material needed for voucher production and logistics - no vouchers have to be produced and transported, so that emission and pollution are reduced to 0%.
Climate friendly solutions don't mean having to return to Stone Age living
As pre-paid still is and will continue to be the prevailing subscriber model, the Virtual Voucher Solution for mobile pre-paid top-ups is future-proof and sustainable. With more than 20 installations of Virtual Voucher in the Americas and in Eastern Europe, the solution has proven to be highly scalable, robust and the alternative for common top-up solutions. Avoiding pollution via scratch card production, logistics and recycling, and at the same time saving money is the optimum basis for future growth and a healthy environment at the same time.
