The report found that the worldwide MDM enterprise market grew by 7% from 2007 to 2008, reaching $260.8 million in revenue. IDC predicts that the market will grow by a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.2% over the next five years to reach $405.3 million by 2013.
"More and more organizations require a robust device management and security platform to support a wide range of mobile devices such as iPhone, BlackBerry, Symbian and Windows Mobile," said Sean Ryan, research analyst, mobile enterprise, IDC.
