Whether we like it or not: S60 is the single largest smartphone operating system, and it has just gone touchscreen with a bang. Tamoggemon expects that the Ovi Store will make S60 even more important - that is, if good software is available at launch.
Let's quote Tam Hanna, CEO of Tamoggemon Software: "Good UI design makes or breaks a platform (think iPhone). Touchscreen applications are fundamentally different from non-touchscreen ones. At Tamoggemon's, years worth of Palm OS experience has embedded touchscreen into our DNA. which puts us into an unique position for tackling the S60v5 market."
The achievement of an Ovi Store registration is the next step towards providing S60v5 users with best-of-breed touchscreen applications. It allows us to make our initial product, LocaNote Lite, available to the Ovi crowd right from day one!
LocaNote Lite will provide no-frills note taking at a very affordable price. Jot down ideas wherever you have them, and store them flexibly - with a single tap of your stylus or plectrum.
P.S. Images, screenshots, manual, feature list and MSRP will be made available shortly before launch. Free press samples will be dispatched on request.
