Oxygen Forensic Suite 2, Version 1.5 Print E-mail

More Unique Features in a New Version of High-Efficiency Forensic Software for Smartphones, Cell Phones and PDAs.

January 8, 2009: Oxygen Software announces the release of Oxygen Forensic Suite 2, version 1.5 - mobile forensic software that supports more effective features, and some of them are really unparallel and expand the horizons of standard forensic analysis. There is a unique new function, which allows to find out the location where the phone owner sent or received a message, or where he took a picture, and the location of every event is shown on the map. OFS2 (Oxygen Forensic Suite 2) supports almost 1100 models of cell phones and smartphones, and the list is constantly growing.

Oxygen Forensic Suite 2 is famous for extracting much more data than usually extracted by logical forensic tools. One more strong point of this tool, differentiating it from other similar forensic software, is smartphone analysis. The program supports Symbian OS, Nokia S60, Sony Ericsson UIQ, Windows Mobile 5/6, Blackberry smartphones and such exclusive devices as Vertu and Mobiado. Oxygen Software has developed its own forensic-protocol for extracting information that is unavailable for other software. With the new version of Oxygen Forensic Suite it is now possible to get information about deleted text messages from Symbian OS smartphones. Many other programs can also show deleted messages but on a SIM card only. It is quite insufficient because the majority of phones and smartphones store messages using phone memory instead of a SIM card.

"Oxygen Forensic Suite 2, version 1.5 was presented at the annual seminar of Criminal Police of Germany (Bundeskriminalamt) and aroused great interest", - says Oleg Fedorov, the CEO of Oxygen Software. - "The participants particularly noted a new function of reading LifeBlog (all the main events recorded with their geographical coordinates) and convenience of data scanning and analysis". Similar forensic software makes inspectors burrow into the file system on their own, while OFS2 saves a lot of time, sorting out data automatically and displaying it in a form convenient for analysis.

Oxygen Forensic Suite 2, version 1.5 supports various hash function algorithms, which serve to check and confirm that data remains unchanged and thus guarantees invariability of the data. The interface is specially designed for forensic analysis, data search and reporting, optimizing the work process. The multilanguage information is read and shown correctly, as OFS2 has a full support of Unicode standard.

All the advantages of Oxygen Forensic Suite 2 over similar forensic software have made OFS2 popular and widely used in more than 50 countries all over the world including the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, France, Denmark, Norway, Australia and many others. It is hardly too much to say that the new version will be of great help in forensic analysis, making it even more fast, convenient and thorough.

Pricing and Availability

System requirements: Oxygen Forensic Suite 2, version 1.5 runs under all versions of Microsoft Windows; a cable, Bluetooth or IR port is needed for device connection. A single-user license costs $ 999 (US). Volume buyers are entitled to discounts. A trial version is available for free download from http://www.oxygen-forensic.com
