Handango Apps to be Delivered Through Best Buy Mobile's In-Store Digital Mobile Genie System

Las Colinas, TX - December 11, 2008 - Handango Inc. (Handango), the leading retailer of smartphone apps globally and Best Buy today announced a first of its kind deal to bring smartphone apps to Best Buy's retail stores nationwide. Through the partnership, Handango will offer Best Buy Mobile customers a content catalogue of top-quality apps ranging from business and productivity to entertainment and games for Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Palm, and Symbian S60 smartphones. The apps now can be purchased for specific devices at the point of sale using Best Buy's in-store digital Mobile Genie system. Additionally, Handango's In-HandT client, custom branded for Best Buy, will be downloaded directly onto each device so customers can continue to purchase apps with Handango and Best Buy even after they leave the store.

"Handango's deal with Best Buy is groundbreaking for the smartphone apps marketplace marking the first time these apps will be made available for purchase right at the point-of-sale across Best Buy stores," states Bill Stone, CEO Handango. "Customers will now be able to purchase top titles a la carte with simple pricing, have them downloaded and installed by Best Buy Mobile's expert staff making it easier than ever to personalize their devices."

Handango's content catalogue will be updated regularly offering Best Buy Mobile's customers a continuous array of new and exciting games and applications for their smartphones.

"With the onrush of exciting new smartphones hitting the marketplace, Best Buy couldn't have chosen a better partner than Handango to provide the most expansive choice of top applications so our customers can walk out the door with these devices working and personalized for their lifestyle," states Scott Moore, VP Marketing Best Buy Mobile, Best Buy.

In addition, select Best Buy outlets will be offering their customers a selection of Mobile App Packs featuring three favorite game titles for Windows Mobile, Blackberry and Palm devices. Games will be pre-loaded onto Micro SD cards creating a unique plug-and-play experience for customers thus eliminating the need for over-the-air or desktop downloads that require sync cables.
