Forum.Nokia visitors will see a new resource today - Among the great new features, you will enjoy the new streamlined design that will help you get where you are going faster, while a revamped search tool ensures you get exactly the information you need.
Most notably new on the website is the "I want to" section, prominently displayed on the side-bar. Here users can get directed to key sections of the portal to help them get ideas, develop a mobile app, get assistance going to market etc...
So, what's new at Forum.nokia
this via their blog... "So, what can you expect when you log-in on Tuesday? Well, you'll see right away that we've got a new site design and information architecture (IA). We hope that you will find that both will make navigating easy. The IA includes an all-new way of uncovering our resources, a task-based approach to navigation that is called "I Want To." You tell us what you want to do, and we'll take you to the resource you need. This should make it even easier, especially for newcomers, to find what they need. If you like to subscribe to feeds, you'll find lots of places throughout the site to subscribe to Forum Nokia content. Also, a persistent right-hand column will feature all the most important resources Forum Nokia has to offer, from upcoming events to online community highlights."
The New Forum.Nokia

A new look for http://www.forum.nokia.com/
The following came via the Forum.Nokia Blog on Monday in prep for the change...
Starting at about 8a GMT (and following about a 2-hour maintenance break) on Tuesday, 26 November, Forum Nokia will unveil an all-new Forum.Nokia.com website. The changes, many of which I'll summarize in a moment, also will affect the discussion boards, wikis and blogs that make up our online community. I want to take a moment to describe the process by which we have made changes, and just as importantly, what users can expect as a result.
First, it was important to all of us in Forum Nokia that we include actual users of all kinds at every step of this renewal process. So we created a Developer Advisory Committee, made up mostly of Champions, with which to discuss our ideas. We conducted the most comprehensive website research we've ever commissioned to capture your feedback and concerns. We spoke with several of you to help understand your pain points and goals online, and we did several rounds of testing to make sure that the site would enable you to get to the resources you need more quickly and efficiently. In other words, the changes you will see have been made with you in mind.
