Joint mobile Office solution combines all desktop features into a BlackBerry smartphone

(Berlin, November, 2008) Cortado, a global leader in mobile applications, and DataViz®, an industry leader in developing and marketing Microsoft® Office compatibility and productivity solutions, today announced their new aftermarket software bundle for BlackBerry® smartphone users. The bundle combines DataViz's Documents To Go® Premium Edition and Cortado's mobile applications.

Together, Cortado and Documents To Go have delivered a sales bundle to help individuals work easier, with mobile office functions. Now, users can access network files and information with full Microsoft Office editing capabilities - as well as print, fax and presentation options - delivering true office mobility, all through a BlackBerry smartphone.

"Our joint solution bundle for BlackBerry smartphone users offers a full workstation in the palm of one's hand," said Thorsten Hesse, International Sales Manager Cortado Enterprise Solutions. "With the combination of two high-end mobile solutions for BlackBerry smartphones, we are opening a new level of opportunity for businesses to enjoy the benefits of the latest in mobile technology. Our customers are now able to enhance productivity and quality of work, while significantly reducing IT investments and maintenance costs."

With the mobile business solutions offered by Cortado, users have access to their corporate network and flexible output options via their BlackBerry smartphones. The Cortado solutions are completed with the award winning mobile Office suite Documents To Go Premium Edition from DataViz. Documents To Go provides customers with the ability to view, edit and create native Microsoft Word®, Excel® and PowerPoint® documents and attachments directly on a BlackBerry smartphone. Other features include a native PDF viewer, PDF To Go®, support for Microsoft Office 2007 files, password protected Word and Excel files, advanced track changes, InTact Technology™ for retaining 100% file formatting when editing files on the smartphone, spell check and other advanced editing features.

"We are very pleased to have Cortado as our partner. Together we can provide our customers with the essential tools to mobilize their office," said Michelle Carroll, International Channel Distribution Manager, DataViz. "As a developer of the leading mobile Office solution, Documents To Go, we recognize that true Office mobility will provide more productive and more cost efficient workflows for BlackBerry users."

The solution package is available from Cortado's partners around the globe. Please contact a partner or regional Cortado office for pricing details.
