Digia Plc has today announced that Samsung Electronics, the world's second largest mobile phone manufacturer have selected Digia Remote Phone Management (RPM) solution to provide remote access to the latest Samsung devices for the Samsung developer community. The solution will be available for registered developers immediately.
“With this RPM service we are able to provide access to all Samsung S60 mobile
devices to the worldwide developer community”, says Phil Northam, Global
Marketing Manager, Samsung Mobile Innovator. “The solution allows developers to
remotely connect to the latest Samsung devices from their desktop and perform
testing and verification of applications. In addition we are able to serve the
maximum possible number of developers worldwide since the devices can easily be
shared and don't have to be shipped to individual developers”.

remote testing and development solution”, says Wolfgang Kölbl, Head of Product
Development, Digia. “RPM is a proven concept that is currently used by mobile
phone manufacturers and software development companies worldwide. We truly

Remote Phone Management (RPM) is a solution for remote access to mobile devices
over the Internet. Developers can connect to devices using their web-browser
and are able to see the device's screen in real-time. In addition the
developers can transfer applications and files between their PC and the device.
