Orange Expands own Label Mobile Email Range for Business Print E-mail
Written by Orange
Tuesday, 15 July 2008
Orange Business Services today announces the expansion of Orange Mail Internet Service (OMIS), its own label mobile email solution for business. OMIS is now available as an add-on bundle, or as a Pay As You Connect

LONDON, July 15 -- The new OMIS is now available as an add-on bundle, or as a Pay As You Connect (PAYC) service, making connectivity on the move simple and affordable even for those businesses with limited or occasional data requirements. Bundle prices start at GBP5.11 per month for a 250MB data allowance while the PAYC service costs GBP2.50 per month plus normal data costs(1).

OMIS works on a range of handsets not traditionally associated with mobile email and provides customers with a low-cost, reliable and easy-to-use alternative to email on the phone. Its straightforward, user-friendly set-up process eliminates the need for small businesses to purchase high specification devices, invest in IT support, or go through lengthy set-up processes. It also gives greater control and flexibility over when and where people choose to do business.

Martin Lyne, Director of Small Business, Orange UK, says 'OMIS is our response to customer's requests for a mobile email solution that works with the devices they love and are loathe to give up. It's simple, affordable and now it's more flexible than ever. For small business owners who don't want to waste time setting up a new service or learning to navigate a new phone, this is a perfect solution.'

Customers keen to try the service simply text 'OMIS' to 247 from their Orange device or call business customer services on 345 from their Orange phone to activate an OMIS bundle.

OMIS is compatible with Nokia Series 40, Nokia Series 60 and a range of Sony Ericsson and Widows Mobile devices. For a full range of compatible devices go to http://www.orange.co.uk/business/omis
