Written by Jentro Technologies GmbH
Friday, 06 June 2008
Jentro Technologies GmbH (Jentro), a worldwide provider of mobility solutions, announced today a partnership with WeatherBug®, the world's leading provider of live, local weather information and services, to deliver WeatherBug data to end users through connected personal navigation devices (PNDs) and location-aware mobile handsets.

MUNICH, Germany-- The WeatherBug service includes live, local weather information for more than 60,000 locations worldwide and is local language supported for all regions. Detailed views of the seven day forecast from WeatherBug's proprietary weather network are also available.

“Our clients recognize the tremendous value of providing accurate and up-to-the-minute location-based weather information to consumers, and this partnership with WeatherBug will allow Jentro clients to seamlessly access this information through our flexible, mobility solutions platform,” said Erno Hempel, chief technology officer at Jentro.
