DreamSpring today released a significant upgrade of its innovative activity manager, DreamLife, featuring major performance enhancements and numerous improvements in all areas that make DreamLife arguably the fastest and most integrated activity manager, putting it in a class of its own.
Gold Coast, Australia, 04 June 2008 - DreamSpring announced the first major upgrade of DreamLife, a revolutionary activity manager with full calendar and powerful contacts management capabilities, for Sony Ericsson and Motorola smartphones.
DreamSpring today released a significant upgrade of its innovative activity manager, DreamLife, featuring major performance enhancements and numerous improvements in all areas that make DreamLife arguably the fastest and most integrated activity manager, putting it in a class of its own. As i-Symbian's founder Asri puts it, "DreamLife is the closest thing you can get to a 'real' desktop class PIM."
DreamLife v1.10 boasts an extraordinary boost in performance. Displaying activities in DreamLife is now lightning fast, more than 10 times faster than before. Scrolling through contacts is now 66% faster. High performance is maintained even when activities have numerous attendees, tested with up to 1,000 linked contacts.
DreamLife's new activity summary popup, providing information as the user scrolls through the activities, supplements the existing activity details popup without interfering with calendar viewing. Also new is the ability to see attendees' photos while editing an activity.
Other highlights include more attractive display, smoother jogdial and joypad navigation, better finger friendliness, customised popups and opacity, localized date and time formats and greatly improved editing of repeating entries.
DreamLife v1.10 provides extensive language support, allowing users the ability to view, edit, organise and manage activities and contacts in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Hong Kong Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Czech, Danish or Taiwan Traditional Chinese. Online help is also available in most languages.
More information on this upgrade is available at http://www.dreamspring.com/products/dreamlife/upgrade.php. A trial version (which will work even if a previous trial has expired) is available at http://www.dreamspring.com/products/dreamlife/download/trial.php.
On the release of DreamLife v1.10, Managing Director Malcolm Lithgow says: "This upgrade has been long time coming because we want to ensure that no effort is spared in providing a high quality and useful application. I'm thrilled to hear that many of our customers who have had early access to this release are both delighted and excited about the improvements."
DreamLife offers Symbian UIQ 3 smartphone users a simpler and more effective way of managing their life's activities. DreamLife is available for €42.95 or as an upgrade to current DreamConnect 3 customers for €21.95 at www.dreamspring.com.
This upgrade is available free of charge to all current owners of DreamLife.
