Mobile Master 7 Adds Symbian Support Print E-mail
Written by Richard Bloor
Wednesday, 21 May 2008
Mobile Master 7 now synchronizes contact and calendar data with Nokia phones even without an installed Nokia PC Suite and supports Symbian devices for the first time.

Short paths, a clear design, and logical structure guide visitors to the information they seek

Jumping Bytes, specialists in mobile phone administration and SMS communication, today announced the launch of the Mobile Master website in English at http://www.mobile-master.com.

The short paths, the clean design, and logical structure of the website guide visitors intuitively and directly to the desired information. The new version 7 of the mobile phone tool is now also duly presented to English-speaking users.

The new corporate identity sums up the advantages of the mobile phone tool: The logo of the new image presents Mobile Master as a universal tool for synchronizing data between mobile phone and PC; in a distinct color scheme, the wavy lines communicate the interrupted flow of data between several phone generations or when switching to a new phone.

Whether Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung or Siemens – whether Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, or David Tobit: what is special about Mobile Master is the cross-platform support for numerous mobile handsets as well as compatibility to most major email clients or contact programs.

Mobile Master Version 7 – New Features:

The recently released version 7 of Mobile Master now synchronizes contact and calendar data with Nokia phones even without Nokia PC Suite installed and supports Symbian devices for the first time. In multimedia applications, the new version synchronizes photos and videos for all mobile phone manufacturers simply and easily with the PC as well as contact and calendar data. The “Phone Explorer” management feature uses drag and drop to copy any file, such as e.g. photos, images, ring tones, iTunes and Winamp play lists between mobile phone and PC.

The start window has also been completely redesigned, is more clearly arranged, and includes new icons: all relevant functions can now be launched directly from this window with just one click.

Java applications can now be installed and managed – initially only available for Sony Ericsson phones, synchronizing with Google’s Organizer is now possible in both directions, and Bluetooth connections are much simpler to deal with.

Mobile Master supports all of the latest mobile phones from Sony Ericsson (with the exception of UIQ3 devices), such as e.g. the W890 or the K770, the SGH-G600, SGH-F500 and SGH-F210 from Samsung and the Nokia phones N95, N81, E65, E61i, E51, 6500, 6300, and 5310 and 5610 XpressMusic.

Will Mobile Master also support my phone?

For every mobile phone model the new website now features a separate summary page with detailed information on the supported functions and product features. For every model this includes, for example, information about the number of possible address book entries, how many fields are available per entry, which synchronization rate is to be expected, or whether a mobile phone can be connected via Bluetooth. The manufacturer constantly updates the underlying database. Visitors to the site can rely on finding up-to-date information.

The mobile phone database can be found at: http://www.mobile-master.com/phones

Another advantage: the website is extremely fast and is correctly displayed in all standard browsers.

Prices and availability:

Mobile Master 7 (ca. 15 MB) can be downloaded at http://www.mobile-master.com/down. The 30-day test version is a full version with one limitation: it can load a maximum of 20 phone book entries from PC top hone.

Mobile Master can be purchased online in a light (9.90 EURO), standard (19.90 EURO), professional version (29.90 EURO) or in a corporate edition (35.90 EURO). Updates are provided free-of-charge for a period of one year for registered customers of Mobile Master.

Differences in functionality between the different editions are described at http://www.mobile-master.com/features/mobile_master_editions.html.

A complete feature list with integrated feature tour can be found at: http://www.mobile-master.com/features/feat.html

A list of supported mobile phones is at: http://www.mobile-master.com/phones
