Intuitive Activity Manager Released For Symbian Smartphones Print E-mail
Written by DreamSpring
Friday, 22 February 2008
DreamSpring announced the availability of DreamLife, an integrated activity manager with full calendar and powerful contacts management capabilities, for Symbian UIQ 3 smartphone users.

DreamSpring has released its intuitive activity manager, DreamLife, answering the call of many UIQ 3 users for a powerful and simple to use activity manager, able to manage life's activities, public or private.

DreamLife offers two applications in one. It fully integrates the award-winning contact manager DreamConnect 3 to provide powerful contact management capabilities from within an easy to use calendar, replacing the most used Contacts and Calendar applications on UIQ smartphones.

DreamLife is the only application on the platform to provide a visual representation of activities for easy viewing and planning. Its vibrant and rich week view allows users to view todo's, appointments, events, categories and status at one glance.

DreamLife's activities support true live links with contacts. Tapping on an attendee or location in the pop-up activity details window takes the user to the linked contacts details, from which they can call, message, or read the address of the contact.

Another highlight of DreamLife is its innovative two-pane editing. With a day planner visible in the activity editor, users can quickly view available time slots and schedule activities in the context of the day. This reduces activity conflicts and eliminates wasteful rescheduling of unintended conflicts.

DreamLife comes with the latest updates to DreamConnect: a touch friendly version that makes common operations even more accessible with the addition of on-screen buttons. This version also provides gesture support for quicker access to contact details simply by swiping a finger on the screen.

DreamLife, with many more features, is essential to smartphone users who want to manage their life more effectively. As one of the testers, Marius, says, "I really miss DreamLife. Life without it is much more complicated!"

More information on DreamLife is available at http://www.dreamspring.com/products/dreamlife/index.php. Users can trial DreamLife at http://www.dreamspring.com/products/dreamlife/download/trial.php before purchase.

On the release of DreamLife, Managing Director Malcolm Lithgow says: "I'd like to thank our beta and market testers who have made valuable contributions to what DreamLife is today. During our testing phase, consistent feedback was how user friendly and attractive DreamLife is. And that is our goal - to create exceptional applications that are sophisticated, powerful and yet easy to use and provide real benefits to every user."

DreamLife offers Symbian UIQ 3 smartphone users a simpler and more effective way of managing their activities. DreamLife is available for €42.95 or as an upgrade to current DreamConnect 3 customers for €21.95 at www.dreamspring.com.
