Paragon Software Group is proud to announce the latest SlovoEd Express service, now available for S60 3rd Edition smartphones, offering more accessibility options to its best-in-class SlovoEd collection of bilingual and monolingual dictionaries for S60 users while making multilingual translations directly available in the mobile environment, and without using up much space on the device.
Instant Access to the Most Comprehensive Bilingual & Monolingual Dictionaries without Using Up Much Memory Space, SlovoEd Express to Be Showcased at MWC 2008
SlovoEd users can get precise translations – either in the traditional way of downloading one or several dictionaries on the device, or by simply choosing a language and getting a one-year subscription to the SlovoEd Express service, allowing the use of multiple dictionaries that are instantly updated and without using up much space on S60 3rd Edition devices. The new dictionary access option allows the mobile user working in a multilingual environment to instantly obtain the needed translation or semantic meaning of a word through the client-server technique, easily accessible by way of the most advanced wireless Internet connection functioning scheme. In addition, this new option enables the user to translate a word in several languages at once, without filling up memory space. SlovoEd Express does not require much memory space and has low traffic-per-word translation.
The new client-server-based service combines state-of-the-art technologies with the most comprehensive dictionary databases available on today’s market, while at the same time offering its customers instant access to multiple dictionaries, saving users time and effort.
Most importantly, the mobile user is able to get the latest updates of multilingual databases, now available on a daily basis, through Internet access.
The new service also includes multilingual on-screen keyboard layout – this unique feature enables users to enter and translate words and letters in different languages, even if it is not supported by the smartphone. SlovoEd Express users can also share this innovative reference solution with their relatives and friends by sending it via SMS or Bluetooth.
