eLeader joins Symbian Platinum Program Print E-mail
Written by eLeader
Thursday, 24 January 2008
eLeader, a leading smartphone software house, has announced that it has joined the Symbian Platinum Program, a program designed to support mobile innovators in the growing market for Symbian smartphones and applications.

Symbian is the market leading open operating system for advanced data-enabled mobile phones known as smartphones. Symbian OS™ is licensed by the world’s leading phone manufacturers and to date, over 165 million smartphones have shipped worldwide to over 250 major network operators.

eLeader produces a range of mobile enterprise applications, including Field Force Management (FFM) and Sales Force Automation (Retail SFA) solutions for smartphones based on S60 and Symbian OS. FFM and SFA systems allow companies to control their mobile workforces more effectively. They provide greater visibility, more accurate data, and standardise business processes across the whole mobile workforce.

“We are delighted that Symbian has invited eLeader into the Platinum Program. It coincides with a deployment that brings the total number of countries where our software is used to over thirty” - said Dobromir Piekarski, co-founder and CEO of eLeader. “As a Platinum Partner we will continue to launch innovative new software more efficiently, with better integration of Symbian devices and with more useful features for users. We hope to strengthen our position as a pioneer in mobile business solutions and continue our rapid expansion along with Symbian and its ecosystem”.

“Effective mobile workforce management has become a fundamental requirement for today’s enterprises”, said Andrew Moran, Head of Enterprise, Symbian. “We are pleased to have eLeader join the Symbian Platinum Program, bringing its innovative Field Force Management technology to a fast-growing smartphone market and ecosystem”.

More information about eLeader and its solutions can be found at www.eleader.eu.
