Makayama introduces Mobile Ringtone Studio for Nokia Print E-mail
Written by Makayama
Monday, 05 November 2007
Makayama today introduces Mobile Ringtone Studio for Nokia® 1.0. An innovative software package that allows Nokia-users to create and edit ringtones from their own music collection. It’s an all-in-one package that can handle MP3s or CDs, visually edit the music, convert it to a ringtone and transfer it to a Nokia phone.

New software for easy ringtone creation and management

Mobile Ringtone Studio for Nokia® can be installed on a Windows XP or Vista computer. It’s actually three products in one:
1. A ringtone editing program, allowing users to open multiple format music files, including MP3. The sound file will be analysed and loaded into a visual graph, in the upper part of the screen. The music is represented as a timeline, showing the complete track. Users can edit the start and end of their ringtone, just by dragging it across the timeline. A realtime equaliser is also visible on the screen.
2. A CD ripping program users to convert music from CD into the MP3 format. The built-in CD ripper will copy the music to the harddrive with the right track and album title. It automatically downloads information from the internet about the contents of the audio CD and finds the right titles. Album art will also be downloaded and stored on the drive. Many user configurable quality options for the conversion are also available.
3. A ringtone manager, allowing users to move ringtones back and forth between their PC and Nokia phone. Not only usefull for easy transfer of ringtones which are created with the built-in conversion tool, but also to use it to backup purchased ringtones, or preset ringtones
