Rocket Science, founded in 2002, developed the Poison framework which allows XML-based UI development on Symbian Series 60, UIQ, Windows Mobile and Linux platforms with just one codebase. In the Poison framework, the mobile operating system abstraction layer of the framework handles the OS differences, and enables development for different handsets without rewriting the application code. The Rocket Science team will now operate out of Tampere in the offices of Liquid Air Lab Finland Oy.
