Epocware and UIQ Technology on new collaboration level

Moscow, Russia – 12 October 2007 –  Epocware/Paragon Software Group today announced that it has joined UIQ Technolgy’s partner program, UIQ Alliance, to support the growing success of UIQ™ and UIQ Technology. UIQ Alliance facilitates for mobile phone manufacturers to find partners that are acknowledged by UIQ Technology. The program supports many service, application and content providers worldwide who enhance the value of the UIQ product offering.

Having been developing solutions for Symbian OS and UIQ since the first release of the both platforms, Epocware has established the reputation of trustworthy member of Symbian OS community. As a UIQ Alliance Partner along with Symbian Platinum, Symbian Self Certification, Forum Nokia Pro, Sony Ericsson Developer World and MOTODEV memberships, Epocware will further strengthen the collaboration with UIQ Technology and fully realize the prospects to deliver advanced solutions to enhance the potential of devices based on UIQ.

Epocware’s participation in UIQ Alliance takes its relationships with Sony Ericsson and Motorola companies licensed UIQ to a new level. During the companies’ long-term partnership the various collaboration agreements were accomplished: Try&Buy projects and software incorporation into UIQ-based Sony Ericsson smartphones distributed in local markets as well as Motorola A950/A1000 bundling with utilities.
