There's never been as many UIQ 3-based phones available on the market at one time as in Q4 2007. This year's Symbian Smartphone Show (October 16-17, 2007) gives you the chance to run your UIQ 3 .SIS files on UIQ 3-based phones and use the available technical support teams to get any programming issues resolved.
Here's a snap-shot of Sony Ericsson's activities at the show:
- Bring your UIQ 3 app and get it tested: UIQ 3-based apps share the same code lines so run on potenially UIQ 3-based phones. Bring your .SIS file to the Sony Ericsson or UIQ Technology booth, run it on UIQ 3-based phones and use the technical support staff at Sony Ericsson Developer World's Developer Zone to get any issues resolved.
- Visit booths, check out new phones and attend speaker sessions: Sony Ericsson and UIQ Technology have adjoining exhibition space, sharing UIQ Platform information, access to partners and demonstrations of the new Sony Ericsson W960 Walkman phone and P1 smartphone. You can also hear experts speak at the show, including Sony Ericsson's Corporate Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Mats Lindoff giving his keynote speech.
- Developer pub night: enjoy a beer with experts from Sony Ericsson, Motorola and UIQ Technology, October 15.
