A note from Nokia reps this week informs us that the Nokia viNe application will be rolled out of Beta soon... possibly even this week. viNe is a web service that enables users of the application to share their journeys, along with media collected along the way. As a long-time Sports Tracker user, N95 enthusiasts, and evangelist of all things mobile and geospatial, I was provided with a pre-release version of viNe - details and a complete "How To" install and use the application are provided... enjoy! It was back in June 2008 that the E71 was officially released to the public - the selling points for the E71 were a sleek, stylish do-it-all device that came with Mail for Exchange mobile email client - pre-loaded with the Nokia E71. Actually, the device boasted much much more than these attributes as you'll see below in my findings after having the pleasure of making the E71 my main device for 3 weeks... enjoy the recap, the images and the videos!

DreamSpring has announced the availability of DreamConnect 3, an innovative contact manager with ground breaking technologies for Symbian UIQ 3 smartphone users, in French and Italian.
DreamSpring announced DreamConnect v3.30 featuring French and Italian support, following the release of the Spanish and German version last week.
DreamConnect v3.30 allows users to use DreamConnect 3 in English, Spanish, German, French or Italian. French and Italian users can now choose their native language to view, edit, organise and manage contacts.
The French and Italian version of DreamConnect 3 does not compromise any functionalities from the English version. It includes online help in French and Italian, and Business Card views localised to French and Italian. All while continuing to offer an impressive range of features including industry first hierarchical sub-categories, smart find and dynamic group messaging, providing significant benefits especially to users who have a large contact database.
DreamSpring also launched a new forum on its website to provide English support to its growing user base. Users can submit product queries as well as browse through frequently asked questions and hints and tips on the forum.
On the release of DreamConnect 3 v3.30, Managing Director Malcolm Lithgow comments: "A lot of effort has gone into the localisation of DreamConnect 3 to make sure more users will benefit from it. Our effort also extends to our new forum enthusiastically received by our users. We look forward to a thriving community of DreamConnect users."
DreamConnect 3 provides Symbian UIQ smartphone users an effective and powerful way of managing their contacts. DreamConnect 3 is available for US$24.95 at www.dreamspring.com.
This upgrade is available free of charge to all current owners of DreamConnect 3.
