Mobile Gateway 3.0 Awarded Best Mobile Service Product by Industry Experts
Royal Tunbridge Wells, 25 June, 2007. - Synchronica plc, an international provider
of mobile synchronization and device management solutions, received the Mobile
Service award at the eco Internet Awards 2007 in Cologne for Mobile Gateway 3.0.
Synchronica was announced as the winner of the prestigious award for the best
product in the Mobile Service category at the eco gala event in Cologne, Germany.
Synchronica, an expert in push email, beat off the fierce competition of more
than 200 other applicants to convince a jury of press, analysts, IT and telecoms
experts that the Mobile Gateway was the best mobile service product. Synchronica
joins a high profile list of previous winners including Monster, the jobs portal,
Xing and Siemens Business Services.
Every year the association of the German internet enterprises (eco) awards a
prize to companies for an innovative and extraordinary product or service which
brings a significant user benefit.
The award winning Mobile Gateway from Synchronica is an independent platform,
based entirely on open industry standards. It allows push email and data synchronization
with almost all mobile phones available on the market without the need to install
an additional client on the device. After a simple online registration the synchronization
of contact and calendar data as well as transmission of emails is immediately
available.
Due to the full support of POP3 and IMAP, the consumer is able to use popular
email services like MSN, AOL, Gmail or Yahoo. Businesses can employ the system
to operate with mail servers like Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino and Sun JES.

within six months. The other awards received have been the Golden Marcom Creative
