DreamSpring Releases Upgrade of DreamConnect 3 Print E-mail
Written by Dreamspring
Tuesday, 05 June 2007
DreamSpring has announced the upgrade of DreamConnect 3, an innovative contact manager introducing ground breaking technologies to Symbian UIQ 3 smartphone users.

DreamSpring released the first upgrade of DreamConnect 3 featuring major improvements and minor performance enhancements that make DreamConnect 3 more powerful and user-friendly.

What is of significance in this upgrade is the substantial improvements to contact filtering and application startup. Modifying the Fast Filter now has instantaneous responsiveness regardless of database size, with filtering carrying on in the background. Searching contacts with Smart Find is faster than before. Starting the application now takes 20% less time than previously required.

DreamConnect 3 v3.02 adds export functionality. Users are now able to export contact details along with groups and, optionally, private notes.

This upgrade allows users to save and retain customised settings when the application or the phone restarts. Users are now able to delete named dynamic groups and can use the jog dial to move through contact details faster with automatic skipping over non-actionable text.

Other highlights in this upgrade include online help, visual enhancements in contact merging and group messaging, smoother flip closed and open operation, improved photo display and category management. A complete list of what's new in this upgrade can be found at http://www.dreamspring.com/products/dreamconnect3/upgrade.php.

More details on DreamConnect 3 can be found at http://www.dreamspring.com/products/dreamconnect3/index.php. A trial version is available at http://www.dreamspring.com/products/dreamconnect3/download/trial.php for users to try before purchase.

On the release of DreamConnect 3 v3.02, Managing Director Malcolm Lithgow says: "DreamConnect 3 has vastly improved in its responsiveness and has significant usability gains. This upgrade reflects our continuous effort to create quality and user-friendly applications based on the needs and feedback of real users. I encourage users to talk to us about their needs and thoughts about the application."

DreamConnect 3 provides Symbian UIQ smartphone users an effective and powerful way of managing their contacts. DreamConnect 3 is available for US$24.95 at www.dreamspring.com.

This upgrade is available free of charge to all current owners of DreamConnect 3.
