The Platform Promise: S60 Devices From Samsung - Java technology was heralded as write-once-run-everywhere - we know the reality was somewhat different. As the first Samsung S60 devices arrive in the SymbianOne offices Richard Bloor asks if the S60 platform serves Symbian C++ developers better. In this article Bloor tests the Samsung SGH-G810, SGH-I550, SGH-L870, and SGH-I8510 (INNOV8) S60 devices.

Nokia N95 Users Can Now Enjoy Free Calls With Barablu Print E-mail
Written by Barablu
Monday, 04 June 2007
Barablu, the company that began the free calls from mobile-to-mobile revolution, today announces that its software is now fully compatible with Nokia's N95 smart phone.

LONDON, May 30 --  Barablu users can now use the N95 to call other online users anywhere in the world for free, as well as chat with them and receive video calls also for free.

Since December 2005, Barablu has been developing a free communications world and millions of users have since downloaded Barablu's free software from its website (www.barablu.com) driven by sheer economic sense. By installing Barablu on any suitable mobile device, consumers can use the company's peer-to-peer (P2P) technology to call other online users from any hotspot anywhere in the world for as long as they like for free.

And that means people can enjoy the Barablu free calling and chat experience from hotspots in homes, schools, restaurants, libraries, supermarkets and beyond. Even towns and entire cities have become hotspots.

But the Barablu mobile lifestyle experience also extends to offline calls. When users need to call the offline landlines or mobiles of friends, colleagues or family, they can use Barablu Out to call at very low rates. A call to North America, for example, costs as little as 1p per minute and Barablu Out calls can be made to every country in the world.

About Barablu

Barablu was founded in December 2005 to create a free communications world. By leveraging Internet connections and installing Barablu's peer-to-peer technology on mobiles, Pocket PCs and PCs, users can call and chat with other users for free at anytime. Fifty-six smart phones and Pocket PCs are now Barablu compatible, and the company expects to make many more compatible by end 2007 and beyond as new generations of smart phones come to market. For further information, visit www.barablu.com.
