Nokia is Giving Users a New Experience Print E-mail
Written by Glenn Letham
Saturday, 19 May 2007
Users of Nokia devices (most notably the N-Series devices) have a new resource at their desiposal designed to enhance the user experience... users are invited to learn how to get the most from their device and how to discover, access, express, customize, and explore.

Have you had the "Nokia Experience" yet? It's a new (Beta) service initially for Scandinavian Nokia device users (think Symbian OS). The feature and information-rich web portal provides the latest news, tips, trick, and pointers designed to help the user have a better experience.

Key components to the site are :

Maps & GPS: get the low-down on Nokia maps, download the Nokia MapLoader, get information on city guides, experience how-to's like how to use city guides or how to use the map loader, or how to use voice-guided navigation.

Games: get the latest list of hot games, browse the how-to's to get an edge on the competition, link directly to games for download or purchase.

Video & Mobile TV: Get access to the latest hot video clips, learn all about UPnp, browse the FAQ, and get everything you need to know about the mobile media studio for Nokia

Music: Here you'll get fun and useful information including a listing of the hottest music tracks from MTV,  information and downlaods for Mobile MTV, and valuable how to's like how to sync music to your nice new Nokia N95. Here's a tip... By setting the phone into ‘Mass Storage’ mode when the connectivity cable is applied, you can use your computer’s file explorer to move music files onto either the storage card or the internal hard drive (depending on the mobile device that you are using).

Photos: Learn how to maximize your mobile photography experiences and how to share your images with frinds. You'll find the latest about using your Nokia device with Flickr, learn how to send postcards directly from your mobile, and how to capture and share photos using VOX.

Internet: Have a better mobile Internet experience. Here you'll find out about the MiniMap web browser, access information about the latest and coolest podcasts, learn about Mobile search and widsets.

Products: Here's where you keep tabs on what Nokia is doing and what the latest multi-media mobile computers are available. Currrently you can get info on the N95, N93, N91, N73, N80... pretty much the entire N-series.

Nokia Experience also has a newsletter available to those interested in receiving email updates.
