Java Community Process (JCP) experts and JSR spec leaders will debate the future
of Java ME by analyzing the latest and coolest JSRs for the next-generation of

On May 8, 2007, Sony Ericsson's Java™ ME Executive Committee (EC) representative
is joining a JavaOne 2007 BOF session where Java Community Process (JCP) experts
and JSR spec leaders will debate the future of Java ME by analyzing the latest
and coolest JSRs for the next-generation of Java technology enabled phones.
Jeff Griffin, Senior Systems Engineer and Sony Ericsson's representative on the
Java ME Executive Committee, will also be debating the new Java umbrella standard
Mobile Service Architecture (MSA) (JSR 248) for CLDC and CDC, Mobile Information
Device Profile (MIDP) 3.0, mobile web services and scalable vector graphics (SVG)
together with some fellow industry panelists in an evening BOF session at JavaOne.
