The latest version of SEPT-Solutions award winning Mobile Search adds the ability to find text within files and support for the Nokia N95 and E90.
SEPT-Solutions is proud to announce version 2.09 of its award-winning Symbian application Mobile Search. Mobile Search for the S60 3rd Edition can search inside your whole system for matches based on your criteria and helps you find information easily and quickly.
The major new addition gives you - for the first time ever on the Symbian platform - the ability to search within files. This file content search is now possible for OpenDocument-, Text-, XML-, HTML- and PHP-files. In OpenDocument files, Mobile Search looks not only inside the content for matches, but also within the files metadata for matches on fileds such as description and author.
Additional improvements include:
- in the results view, use the left joystick to start a new search quickly
- in the results view, use the right joystick to switch to the associated application
- fully N95 and E90 compatible
- new setting to search with or without repeating calendar entries
- new scaleable application and list icons
Please note, that searching inside files is turned on by default, which can make searching slow. If you do not need this feature for a search, it can be turned using the application settings.
