Get a Personal International Phone Number Tied to Your Phone Print E-mail

International Callers Now Reach You At Local Calling Costs

White Plains, NY (3/8/07) - Now international phone calling has never been easier with the introduction of a unique new phone service -- called Magellan -- that gives customers their very own personal international phone number for their cell phone or landline. With this number, they can be contacted anywhere in the world at local rates.

Cordia Corporation created this innovative service in response to marketplace demand for an affordable and reliable alternative to conventional long-distance calling.  "Businesses, expatriates, international students, and professionals based here and overseas will all benefit from the significant cost savings and convenience of Magellan," said Joel Dupré, CEO of Cordia.

Cordia makes it simple - customers simply go to www.magnumbers.com and sign up.

There are two types of Magellan calling services that offer personalized phone numbers.  The first is Private Magellan, where customers choose phone numbers from more than 300 cities in more than 40 countries for their landline and cell phones. Magellan customers are able to receive unlimited inbound phone calls on their own dedicated international phone numbers for a fixed monthly price while their internationally based callers pay only local rates.

For example, with Private Magellan, people from Mexico working in the U.S., can now receive phone numbers from more than 13 cities in Mexico for their U.S. phones. This allows friends, family and business associates in Mexico to make a local call to the U.S., for no additional cost.  The same applies to a student in England, or any one of the 40 different countries Magellan has in its network.

The second is Global Magellan, where friends and associates from around the world can reach customers with an access number programmed to the customer's phone. Many different people around the world can reach you for a low cost. For instance, a customer traveling on business throughout Asia can be reached by anyone in the world by dialing a local access number followed by the customer's MagNumber extension. The call rings on any landline or cell phone specified by the customer and the ring-to number can be changed "on-the-fly" online or over the phone. This new Global Magellan service includes a free global personal extension, local access numbers in over 300 international cities and no monthly fees.

All Magellan customers also get low inbound rates when calls are forwarded to phone numbers outside the Continental U.S. or Canada and their family, friends and business associates pay local rates to reach the Magellan customer anywhere in the world.
