LambdaStream, the Interactive Personal TV company, is making a full-frontal assault on the International mobile TV market aiming to lead mobile TV interactivity with its Electronic Service Guides and its VoD services.

The company provides Electronic Service Guides and Video on Demand for mobile TV

LambdaStream, leading provider for multimedia delivery and interactive TV, is making an assault on the International interactive mobile TV market aiming to lead the interactive development of DVB-H mobile TV around the world. The first move will take place in Russia , from April, with the launch of the first commercial DVB-H network in the Russian Federation and the second in the world, with up to 15 TV channels. The Spanish company will provide the network with Antares, the Electronic Service Guides, and the Video on Demand platform, VoDKA, the most advanced interactive mobile TV services in the world.

Antares will allow users to browse through the mobile TV programming menu. Main mobile manufacturers (Motorola, Nokia, Sagem, Samsung and BenQ) have already proved its capability. Its success was again demonstrated at recent fairs, like 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona , CSTB’07 in Moscow or IBC’06, where it gave service to the official mobile TV platforms.

LambdaStream will also provide its Video on Demand platform, VoDKA (Video on Demand Kernel Architecture), to distribute mobile TV services on demand opening the door to the most advanced interactive services through mobile terminals, like Time-Shift TV on demand.

To strengthen its International position, the company is opening several International offices focusing on Europe (above all Eastern Europe) and the Middle East.
