Symbian Limited has announced a collaboration with Telefonica Móviles España to reinforce the role of Symbian OS™ in Telefónica’s mobile device portfolio. Symbian OS is the market leading operating system for smartphones.
The collaboration will enable Telefonica Móviles España to offer new mobile devices and services more quickly to its customers by increasing the use of S60 and UIQ on Symbian OS as respective software platforms for mobile handsets worldwide.
