Twistbox to Rapidly Expand Global Distribution and Portfolio of Play for Prizes Games and Promotions

LOS ANGELES-- Twistbox Entertainment, Inc. today announced the acquisition of all of the assets of Infospace Inc.’s (NASDAQ:INSP) US based mobile games Studio located in San Mateo, CA. Formerly known as Atlas Mobile, Inc., the Studio is a pioneer in the Play for Prizes business across the major carriers in North America that includes multiplayer tournaments and loyalty campaigns for leading consumer and entertainment brands. “This acquisition is a perfect fit for our value added mobile game strategy, and complimentary to our existing titles and on-deck distribution in over 40 countries,” stated Twistbox CEO, Ian Aaron. “By integrating Play for Prizes into our current RapidPort™ development and porting platform, we will be able to accelerate the delivery of new games to market, provide broad handset support, and bring our carrier and content partners new and innovative ways to reach and retain customers.”

Effective immediately, the company will be introducing three new titles to market including “SuperSlyder for Prizes”, “Take Yer Meds for Prizes” and “Card Player Poker for Prizes” and three “to be announced” new titles for launch in the second quarter. Existing Play for Prizes titles such as “Trickshot Pool for Prizes”, “Solitaire for Prizes”, “Boulder Dash for Prizes” and “Skee-ball for Prizes” will be made available to carrier partners across Twistbox’s direct distribution network, which spans North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Twistbox Play for Prizes services include award winning development and porting, campaign management, in-game advertising and promotions, and prize fulfillment.
