Seismic Shift Underway in Business Productivity – Fueled by Wireless Adoption

WASHINGTON--CTIA WIRELESS 2007®, the world’s largest event for the wireless industry, will once again spotlight the significant advancements in the wireless enterprise. CTIA WIRELESS takes place March 27-29, 2007 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

“System-wide upgrades are overdue,” said Rob Mesirow, vice president of operations and show director for CTIA WIRELESS. “As the wireless enterprise becomes a reality, productivity gains will make today’s numbers pale by comparison. Every enterprise will incorporate some form of wireless—it is only a matter of time.”

Enterprise professionals can expect to learn more about how product innovation, standards evolution and corporate investment are paving the way for the new wireless enterprise. Already, interest among attendees is at an all-time high with over 400 companies, including Alcatel-Lucent, Andrew Corporation, Cingular, Cisco Systems, Inc., HP, Nortel, Sprint and T-Mobile showcasing the latest enterprise products and services on the show floor.

On March 26, 2006, CTIA WIRELESS will host day-long events focused on the mobile enterprise, including:

VoIP Mobility: Addressing issues and opportunities facing mobile VoIP, including system and consumer requirements.
Mobile Payments World: Bringing together banks, financial services and mobile communications.
Smartphone Summit: Showcasing the latest smartphones, hardware and accessories, with representation from all Smartphone OS platforms including Symbian, Microsoft, RIM, and Linux.
Wireless Data University: Led by Andrew Seybold, this has been the industry’s preeminent in-depth wireless data education session, for neophytes and experts alike.
In addition, three pavilions on the show floor will highlight innovative products and solutions for the wireless enterprise in the following pavilions: Enterprise Mobility and the M2M Zone and VoIP.

Finally, the CTIA educational program and co-located partner conferences will engage industry stalwarts and upstarts alike, making for a lively exchange of ideas and points of view. Notable participants include policy makers, carriers and corporate representatives. Together, they will expose the promise, and potential pitfalls, awaiting the wireless enterprise.
