DIOTEK (www.diotek.co.kr), a leading mobile software developer in Korea, said that it released a new
mobile multi-language electronic dictionary for Symbian OS, ’PowerDic’ installed
with Harper Collins’s seven kinds of dictionary, English, Spanish, German, Italian,
Portuguese, French and English thesaurus.
It also said it recently obtained the ‘Symbian-Signed’ certificate of Symbian,
a smart phone operating system (OS), for the program.
Encouraged by high popularity of Windows Mobile version of its electronic dictionary,
‘PowerDic’, among users since its launch in 2005, DIOTEK released the new Symbian
version after rolling out its Palm OS-based version earlier. Along with the launch
of Symbian version of ‘PowerDic’, DIOTEK plans to make concerted efforts to win
recognition of excellence of its products in Symbian software market.
The new ‘PowerDic’ multi-European language dictionary features a range of search
functions of standard electronic dictionaries devices, including hypertext and
wild card search, as well as learning effects superior to other products, by providing
reinforced vocabulary and various add-on functions.
