Singapore – Ozura Mobile, a leading international developer and publisher for
mobile entertainment unleashed its latest action game today – 2188 Space Wars.
This highly-acclaimed game will be rolling out across the globe with thousands
of partners, bringing mobile game playability to life in the most challenging
yet interactive arcade shooting experience ever.
Looking into the storyline of 2188 Space Wars in a nutshell, dark forces have
taken over planet earth and seek to consume the universe in the name of their
Lord and Master, Emperor Mardoss. Meanwhile, the survivors of the Resistance have
sent out their best in a final effort to stop him. The game offers players five
levels of non-stop shooting action in which Lance Walker, an exceptionally gifted
pilot and hero seeks to defeat the Emperor in the ever present, classic battle
of good versus evil.
Unlike most standalone arcade shooting games, 2188 Space Wars allows players
to prove their gaming skills by uploading their high scores to compete with other
gamers. This interactive feature enables mobile gamers to stand a chance of winning
fabulous prizes upon conquering the ranking charts.
"We are proud to release this latest title which is guaranteed a soft spot with
science fiction fans," said H.E.Mah, Ozura’s Vice President of Marketing. "The
game simulates the thrill of flying in space armed with an arsenal of weaponry
while attempting to save the universe. Now that this genre of game is available
on mobile phones, players can take this immersive experience with them anywhere.”
2188 Space Wars is expected to be officially released on November 10th, 2006
and will be available for current mobile phones, operators and portals in countries
such as UK, United States, China and others.
