JuiceCaster3.0 Enables Users to Easily Post Pictures and Videos From Their Mobile Phones Directly to Any Web Site or Online Personal Page

JuiceCaster3.0 Connects the User’s Cell Phone
to Their Entire Online Life

LOS ANGELES, CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment – Juice Wireless (www.juicewireless.com), creators of JuiceCaster – the groundbreaking mobile phone and internet social media community, today announced the launch of JuiceCaster3.0, which includes the breakthrough JuiceCaster MediaBox feature. With MediaBox, JuiceCaster users can now quickly and easily capture and post pictures and videos from their mobile phones to virtually any online personal page or web site such as MySpace, Xanga, Blogger, GooglePages, Friendster and BlackPlanet.

JuiceCaster was the first to enable users to capture picture and video content on the mobile phone and then easily share this content with other JuiceCaster users on the computers or mobile phones.  Specifically, viewers could search for and stream fresh, user generated videos right to their mobile phone.

Now, with MediaBox, JuiceCaster3.0 connects the user’s mobile phone and their entire online life.  A user simply places the free MediaBox – which they get from JuiceCaster – onto as many of their online personal pages or web sites as they like.  Then, the user easily captures interesting pictures and videos on their mobile handset and with one click, the user’s content posts to JuiceCaster.com and every site or personal page that user has placed his or her MediaBox.

“MediaBox instantly connects the mobile phone to a user’s entire online life becoming an indispensable mobile application for any modern web user,” said David Herman, CEO of Juice Wireless. “JuiceCaster now let’s you post the content you want, to the places you want, simultaneously.  We call this create once, post everywhere.”

From funny moments to scary happenings, current events, celebrity sightings, personal pictures and more, JuiceCaster3.0 puts the user in control.  Make your JuiceCast public, and share with the JuiceCaster world.  Use MediaBox and share everywhere online.  Or, make your JuiceCast private, and share with just select friends and family.  Because JuiceCaster enables the user to capture life as it happens on their mobile phone, it is about true user generated content.

“Too many sites have the same, copyrighted video content from last night’s TV show,” said Herman.  “JuiceCaster is about real people capturing original content and using that content to connect with friends, family and the world.”

In addition to MediaBox and its core multi-media mobile blogging capabilities, JuiceCaster3.0 offers powerful community and networking features. For example, users can create a self-organizing community for any topic or subject. Additionally, JuiceCaster3.0 lets the user to send user-to-to user and user-to-group text messages from their phone or right from JuiceCaster.com on the web.  JuiceCaster3.0 also provides for user-defined mobile alerts when new JuiceCasts of interests are created and when users of interest are online.

On the networking side, JuiceCaster lets users create rich, multi-media profiles, and provides rich search tools so the user can connect with other “friends” quickly and easily on web or phone.  Visitors can also browse communities or JuiceCasts of local interest based on city and topic-based search.

“Fundamentally, social media is a new form of communication,” said Herman.  “Users already use cell phones to connect with other people by voice and text.  With JuiceCaster, they can connect in rich multi-media – sharing their life, as it happens, with those who matter most.”

Herman added, “Alerts and networking features are integral to a true social media community – on the web or the phone.  In the web2.0 world and beyond, connecting with people and content are one and the same.  We want to enable both to happen with equal ease and efficacy, on all platforms.”

JuiceCaster3.0 also offers the JuiceCaster MarketPlace, which enables consumers to offer the pictures and sounds they capture on JuiceCaster for sale as mobile wallpapers or ringtones. The next-generation of phone personalization is largely concerned with unlocking the creative potential of the user themselves. The hottest ringtone for a user may be one that they create themselves, and your perfect sunset picture may be another user’s dream wallpaper.

Additionally, JuiceCaster now offers a MobileLite version, which is a WAP-enabled version of its service that offers all of its core community, communication and viewing features on virtually every internet ready mobile handset. With the development of a WAP version of JuiceCaster, users can share JuiceCasts directly with other mobile users, even those that do not have JuiceCaster mobile application installed on their mobile phone.

“By enhancing the user experience, JuiceCaster increases the usefulness and value of the camera and video functions on our best handsets,” said Yasser Ansari of Kyocera Wireless. “Additionally, to help demonstrate this value-add, we are showcasing JuiceCaster on Kyocera wireless phones in our booth at CTIA this week.”

To access JuiceCaster free from your mobile phone, text “juice” to 84462, or dial 888-390-2922 while on the go.
