CHICAGO, March 1 -- NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global provider of digital map data for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions, announced the North American semi-finalists for the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge(TM).

NAVTEQ will name one winner per solution category, presenting each with $10,000 cash and $75,000 in NAVTEQ data licenses for up to one year.
