With the innovative SGH-i300, a 3GB hard disk drive handset, Samsung has scored a first by launching a phone that features “Plug & Play Files-to-go” capability that allows the phone to function as a removable hard disk drive. The SGH-i300 handset is widely believed to be a key driver for an entirely new generation of Smartphones and wireless ready PDAs. The large storage functionality on the phone extends the usage of the SGH-i300 by truly enabling the multimedia capabilities, as it is capable of storing up to 1,000 music files.
