Integrated Solution Features Advanced Soccer Application for Wireless Carriers
DALLAS, Feb. 21-- Bluestreak Network, developer of the MachBlue(TM) platform
for television and mobile, today announced the availability of its MachBlue for
Mobile platform on the Helix(TM) digital media platform. The first application
for this integrated solution features an advanced Mobile TV soccer portal for
mobile carriers.
The integration of Bluestreak's MachBlue mobile player with Helix DNA(TM) enables
mobile carriers to deliver a simpler navigation interface and clearer graphical
display. The soccer application features anti-aliasing transparency on videos,
pop up videos and Flash-based advertisements between videos.
Bluestreak is now a part of the Helix Community, a collaborative effort among
both leading technology companies and open-source developers to extend Helix DNA,
the open multi-format digital media platform. The Helix platform is the foundation
of the RealPlayer(R). Makers of the world's best mobile phones such as Nokia,
Motorola, Samsung, Sony-Ericsson, etc. have also built media players based on
Helix DNA. All components of the Helix DNA platform are available under either
commercial or open source licenses.
